Texan Link LLC

Privacy Policy

Version 2.0 Effective September 30, 2026

This policy explains what Texan Link LLC (“Texan Link”, “we”, “us”) does with personal information: what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, email us at texanlinkllc@gmail.com and we will explain it.

The short version

  • This website collects nothing about you. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, has no forms, and loads nothing from other companies.
  • If you email us or hire us, we handle what you send so we can reply, do the work, send invoices and keep the business records the law requires.
  • We never sell personal information, and we never share it for advertising.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Some business and tax records we are required to keep for a set time.

Who we are

Texan Link LLC is a Texas limited liability company. You can reach us at texanlinkllc@gmail.com. This policy covers the website at texanlink.com and how we handle information about the people who visit it, contact us, hire us, or work with us as contractors or vendors.

We also use internal tools to run the business, such as bookkeeping and a contractor portal. Where a tool asks you to sign in, it shows its own notice when you first do, and that notice applies together with this policy.

This website

The pages on texanlink.com are static. When you visit:

  • We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser (no local storage or similar).
  • We run no analytics, advertising or social-media widgets, so no other company collects information about you through this site.
  • The site has no contact form, sign-up or login, and the fonts and code it uses are served from texanlink.com itself, not from a third party.
  • The project builder on the home page works entirely inside your browser. What you type stays on your device unless you choose to email it to us, and we do not receive it otherwise.

To deliver a page, our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services (AWS), has to process your device’s IP address and basic request details for a moment so the page can reach you and the network stays protected. We have not turned on access logs for this site, so we do not keep a record of who visited. AWS may keep aggregate and operational data under its own terms.

When you contact us

If you email us (including from the project builder), we receive what you send: your email address, your name if you give it, your message, and any attachments. We use it to reply, to understand your project and to prepare a quote. It is kept in our email account and related business records. We keep inquiries for as long as they are useful for following up, and we delete them when you ask.

We do not send marketing emails. If you have asked us to keep in touch and change your mind, tell us and we will stop.

When you become a client

If we work together, we also handle:

  • your contact and billing details, and the names of the people you want involved;
  • the details of your project, and the files, content and access (for example to a website host or an account) you give us so we can do the work;
  • invoices, payments and related correspondence.

Card payments are handled by the payment provider, and we do not receive or store your full card number. We ask you to remove or change any access you gave us when the project ends, and we stop using it then.

Contractors and vendors

If you work with us as a contractor or vendor, we also handle your work and payment records, and the tax forms we need to pay you and to file what the law requires of us. Taxpayer identification numbers are stored encrypted and shown only in part, and they are kept only as long as those tax rules require.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • reply to you and prepare quotes;
  • do the work you hired us for, and manage the people who help us do it;
  • send invoices, take payment and keep our books;
  • meet tax, accounting and legal obligations;
  • protect our systems and our business from fraud and abuse.

We do not use it to profile you, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed for the purposes above:

  • Service providers who work for us: AWS for hosting and cloud services, Google for email, and payment and invoicing services such as Square, plus any banking or transfer service we use to pay contractors and vendors. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
  • People who help on your project, such as contractors we engage. They receive only what they need and are bound to keep it confidential.
  • Professional advisers, such as our accountant or tax preparer and our lawyers.
  • Authorities and other parties where the law requires, for example in response to a valid legal request.
  • A buyer or successor, if the business or part of it is sold, on terms that keep this policy’s promises.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep it

What How long
Visits to this website We keep no record of them
Inquiries that do not become projects As long as they are useful for following up, and we delete them when you ask
Project files and access you gave us Until the project ends or you ask, then removed
Invoices, payment, tax and accounting records Up to seven years after the tax year they relate to
Contractor and vendor tax forms As long as the tax rules require, up to seven years

Seven years is longer than the usual minimum. Federal tax record-keeping periods run from three years to seven, and longer in some cases, so we keep business records for the longer period. If you ask us to delete something we are still required to keep, we will tell you why and when it will be deleted.

How we protect it

We use safeguards that fit the size of our business: encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this website, sign-in with a second verification step for the systems that hold our business records, access limited to the people who need it, and encryption for taxpayer identification numbers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that nothing will ever go wrong.

If a breach of security affects your sensitive personal information, we will tell you as Texas law requires: without unreasonable delay, and no later than 60 days after we determine the breach occurred. Where the law requires, we also notify the Texas Attorney General. To report a security problem to us, see our security contact.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can email texanlinkllc@gmail.com to ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your personal information;
  • stop using it for a purpose you object to.

We will reply within 45 days. We may need to confirm it is really you before we share or delete anything, and we may keep information we are required to keep, as described above. There is no charge to make a request.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

This website does not track you across websites or over time, and it collects no personal information from visitors. Browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control therefore have nothing to change: we do not track anyone in the first place. No other parties collect personal information about you through this website.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and our services are for businesses, not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Where information is kept

Our systems and providers keep information in the United States. If you are in another country, the information you send us is transferred to and stored in the United States.

Changes to this policy

The version and effective date are at the top of this page. If we change the policy in a way that matters, we will update them, and we will email clients and contractors we already have on file. The earlier version stays available to you on request.
