Texan Link LLC
Accessibility
Texan Link LLC, a Texas company, wants everyone to be able to use texanlink.com. This page says what we aim for, what we have done about it, what we have not done yet, and how to tell us when we get it wrong.
What we aim for
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
What we have done
- Keyboard and screen readers. Every page works with a keyboard alone. There is a skip link, headings follow a logical order, landmarks are labeled, and keyboard focus is always visible. Form controls have real labels.
- Readable text. We chose the typeface for legibility. Text can be enlarged in the browser without breaking the layout, and the layout adapts down to small phone screens with no sideways scrolling.
- Contrast. The build checks the contrast of every text and control color in both the light and dark themes and fails if one falls below WCAG AA.
- Your settings. The site follows your device’s light or dark setting and turns off decorative movement if you have asked your device to reduce motion.
- Works without scripts. Everything except the project builder works with JavaScript switched off. Without JavaScript the builder is replaced by plain instructions and an email link.
How we check
Every change is checked with automated accessibility testing (axe) and with keyboard-only walkthroughs before it goes live. Automated tools find only part of the problems, so this is a floor and not a guarantee.
What we have not done
We have not had this website audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and we do not claim formal conformance with WCAG. If a person or organization needs that assurance, tell us and we will work with you on it.
Known limits
- The project builder needs JavaScript. If you cannot use it, email texanlinkllc@gmail.com and describe your project in your own words.
- The legal pages are long. Each has a list of sections at the top, and we are happy to send a plain-text copy on request.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this website is hard or impossible for you to use, email texanlinkllc@gmail.com. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and, if you are willing, the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix problems that block access as quickly as we can.
Our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are available in another format on request.
